Dark Hearts is operated by IAmPerfectBlue. These terms are drafted to reflect common UK and EU consumer requirements. Before launching commercially they should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor.

1. Eligibility (18+)

Dark Hearts is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or over and legally able to enter this agreement. We verify date of birth at sign-up and may require further identity or age verification at any time. Accounts we believe belong to minors are suspended immediately and permanently removed.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and not share your account. One account per person. You may not impersonate anyone else or use the service on behalf of another person.

3. Acceptable use

You must not upload explicit nudity or sexual content, content depicting minors in any sexualised way, violence, hate speech, harassment, illegal goods, scams or spam. You must not solicit money from other members. Content is subject to automated and human moderation, and we may remove content or terminate accounts for breaches. Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed and reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Safety

We provide reporting and blocking tools on every profile and conversation. We do not conduct criminal background checks. Always meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and never send money to someone you have not met.

5. Paid features and your right to cancel

Optional paid extras (such as Super Likes and extra swipes) are digital content supplied immediately. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase; by completing a purchase you request immediate supply and acknowledge you lose that right once the content is delivered. Unused consumable credits are refundable at our discretion within 14 days. Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your profile with effect from the next billing date.

6. Ending your membership

You can delete your account at any time from the profile page. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, fraud, or to comply with law. On deletion we remove your profile, photos and messages in line with our Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of other members, whether online or offline. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

8. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and if you live in the EU or Scotland you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. Complaints can be sent to our support address; EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
